A man may create a computer that will hold the knowledge to know what humans do before we do it.

Response
1. Would you like to live in a society where there was such a computer as Multivac?
- Yes and no. I find Multivac kind of intrusive of privacy and im no sure i would want a computer knowing everything i do and think. But in a way i think Multivac could be a good thing for knowing when bad things are gonig to happen so you can privent them. The only problem with this is that sometimes humans think bad thought but dont end up donig anything about it so if the government comes and arrests you for thinking about doing something bad you could get into all kind of dilemas.

2.  What do you believe the world or 2100 will be like?
- I believe that in 90 years time anything could happen. I mean people just like us were thinking the same thing 90 years ago. Inventions such as the television and the telephone may not be that big of a deal but back then people didnt think it would ever happen.

3. Why do Ali Othman and Rafe Leemy wait to tell Burnard Gulliman the whole truth? Are their actions believeable considering the seriousness of the crime?
- They do not tell Burnard because they are hoping that the chances will lessen and if they dont they say they will tell Burnard once the crime becomes more serious. I think that what they did wasn't the right way to handle the situation. I ,personally, would have told Brnard what was happening but told him not to make any actions until the problem becomes severe.

4. What does the ending tell you about the ability of technology to bring about a perfect world?
- In the end, a perfect world will never be acheived. Technology, no matter how powerful, will never, in the near future, be able to beat evil and crime.

Critisism

- I think he wanted us to think about how technology will afect the world before we decide to let it run our communities.

3. Do you belong to any of the groups in the text?
- no, because i do not plan on being a scientist, nor am i going to be arrested for no reason.

4. Does the story remind you of a real life event?
- i think in some ways Facebook is like multivac. we upload our personal information and update our every thought of what we have done and what we are gonig to do.

-  i personally have never read or heard of a story similar to this one.

6. How does the story help you think about social ssues and social justice?
